Friday Family Fitness Fun!

This week we set up for the first of five of our Healthy Kids Running Series races #healthykidsvirtual.

I used google maps to get the landmarks on our street for their distances, and we will have some “practice” and on Sunday take our official times for the week and submit to our local HKRS – Greater Annapolis. You can still register too!ย 

They’re doing finisher medals and t-shirt hand outs sometime after it is safe to do so!

Family Fitness Fun #4:

Using the distances recommended by the Healthy Kids Running Series (HKRS) above & google maps, find a safe place for your little’s distance based on age. You can do some practice runs, and then take an “official time”. Have your little try to beat their own time!

If you can’t get an area set up, perhaps you can try to run for the prescribed amount of time (also by HKRS).

We have been doing these races, fall and spring and this is our 6th season!

HKRS promotes healthy running, good sportsmanship and personal progress!
